The 2-bedroom ground floor apartment with patio garden is in a two-storey block of eight built in 2001, St. James Hills is a quiet residential development within a few minutes drive of three top quality golf courses, Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor. The lovely beaches at La Zenia and neighbouring beach resorts are around 4 kilometres away.

This location is not only perfect for golfers and lovers of the seaside, it is also an ideal touring base from which to explore the whole of southern Spain. The new motorway AP37 is less than five minutes away and the main coast road, Carreterra N332 around 10 minutes. The nearest airport, Murcia San Xavier is just 25km away and reached directly via the AP37. Alicante airport is 40 km, or around 45 minutes on the N332.The nearest major town is Torrevieja, still a working fishing port and marina and heart of the region’s historic sea salt industry. It also offers attractive beaches and promenades, varied and lively shops and restaurants, interesting places to visit and, reputedly, one of the world’s healthiest micro-climates.

The apartment’s location and facilities make it suitable for people of all ages and interests.

This apartment is a simple but comfortable, much-loved holiday home, not just part of an investment portfolio. It is well furnished and fully equipped for year-round use by a family that visits as often as possible. Ceiling fans are fitted in each of the main rooms and very effective space heating is available for chillier mornings and evenings in winter.

Good local shops and bar/restaurants, including an internet cafe, are only about 100 metres away and there are many more shops and bars within quick and easy walking distance, including a large modern supermarket and a choice of banks. But car hire is recommended to get the most out of your visit. Local taxis, although good, are the only form of public transport

Accommodation consists of:

Two Bedrooms: Master bedroom with double bed and a large built-in wardrobe. Second bedroom is also furnished with two single beds. Both bedrooms are fully furnished to provide good storage and dressing facilities.

Main bathroom with shower, bath, WC, bidet and wash hand basin.

The fully tiled kitchen comes equipped with washing machine, fridge freezer, cooker and hob, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, utensils.

In the main living area of the apartment you will find a dining area with pine table and 4 chairs plus a large dresser containing crockery, cutlery and glass for six, the lounge area is furnished with a large sofa, comfortable armed rocking chair and additional easy seating together with a coffee table and large storage box that serves as a side table as well as extra stowage for bulky items. UK TV/radio via cable and satellite. Quality furniture is used throughout.

There is a small veranda leading via 4 steps to a patio garden with mature planting of Bougainvillea, Mediterranean lavender and a Yucca. Patio furniture, a parasol and barbeque equipment is available for use outside. There is a large, attractive and well maintained communal pool nearby, plus a separate, pleasantly shady communal garden in addition to the private patio garden and veranda that comes with the apartment

Within a few minutes drive there are plenty of bars for that pre and after dinner drink with some offering nightly entertainment. The Villamartin plaza, with its prominent palm trees and feature mosaics is a picturesque square and is home to a family of parakeets. The Plaza contains a wonderful selection of cafes, bars, restaurants and a bowling alley, all only a 5-minute walk away.

Within 5 minute drive you have 3 Golf courses Villamartin  which has an abundance of olive trees and well placed bunkers to make it a challenging course for players of all abilities.  Las Ramblas which is a stunning, but short course and is most challenging. High trees, natural fairways and ravines feature strongly in this memorable course. Campoamor  which is situated, in two valleys with magnificent views and with a beautiful clubhouse to finish off the day. Campoamor requires a 36 or less handicap
and within 10 minute drive  from this property there is La Finca Golf Course where a new clubhouse is being built to service the Spanish Open and La Marquesa, Tee times can be booked one week in advance at Las Ramblas and 3 days in advance at Campoamor

No need to bring your clubs as you can hire them at the courses. In addition you can also hire electric buggies. The courses all have eighteen holes, putting and chipping greens and practice areas. There are also cafeteria’s/ restaurants where you can unwind with something to eat and drink after your round.

For the hard to please a 30 minute drive further south will bring you to La Manga the world famous golf resort, with three eighteen hole courses to choose from. What more can the enthusiastic golfer ask for!

Please note that most have a strict dress code and require a handicap card to play.

Torrevieja has it own Water Park Aquopolies and there is also a Water Park in Quesada which is a 10 minute drive from this property.

A great day out can be had at the Rio Safari park, located on the Elche - Santa Pola road. The park has a wide range of animals on display as well as swimming pools and water slides. There are also dolphin displays to watch. Further details and prices can be had on 966 63 82 88.

Located in Benidorm, which is 60-minute drive, enjoy one of the most beautiful and fun theme parks in the world. There's something for everyone: shows, thrill rides and rides for the little ones. Come and have some fun at Terra Mitica or visit the water park at Aqualandia
